I’m Saved

This drawing is a very personal drawing for me. I wanted to put my bad and dark times in a drawing, but couldn’t figure out a good way for it.

I started by drawing a Dove in the middle of the page, that represents God who saved me from the dark times. When the dove was done. Something for me was missing.

I started by writing all my thoughts and emotions from that bad period of my life on the page. I wanted to share the messiness and vulnerability from that time. So I wrote really messy and some parts are scratched through.

I wanted to share my story through an artwork. How God saved me and led me to art. That He is with me every step that I take, and that He protects me from the bad.
