Eye of the Tiger

Eye of the tiger was my second animal painting. I finished this painting on August 10, 2023. This painting took me 20 hours to make. This painting was for the feeling much easier than the first one, just because I could use my learned skills from the first painting.

I still got some struggles by this painting, and that was the small hairs. The lion had much longer hairs, but the tiger has small ones.

I made this painting because I love the colors and face of the tiger. When I saw it, I knew that I need to paint this. I love the creature that God created on this earth. And one of the most I love is a tiger.

I made this painting in much bigger parts and didn’t do the blocking parts and the beginning. I wanted to try as much difference than the previous one, but at the same time, use the skills I used.

I struggled a lot at the shadows of the painting at one part of the head. This painting was smaller tham the previous one and I used paint from Amsterdam Acrylics, and not cheap paint. I figured out that, painting with more expensive paint, the coverage of the paint is better and I had to use less paint to get a better result.

I figured out that I can learn a lot by myself by just making paintings.
